View of Kinston Hamfest

Down East Hamfest, Kinston, NC, July 19, 2010
Close to 12 Noon as the crowd was thinning out. Vendors and tables were busy here inside and a vibrant flea market was taking place outside. Very nice facility (air-conditioned) in which to have a Hamfest.

Bill Morine with the venerable W4EHF, Bill Finch, one of the founders of the Tar Heel Emergency Net (THEN). Bill is now 98 years old, was first licensed in 1935, and still plays a mean game of badmitton. We should all be so positive and vibrant when we get that age!
